RESILIENCY and TRAUMA COACH
(1 Year Position, Federal ESSER III Funding)
The Lisbon School Department is seeking a dynamic educational leader for the position of Resiliency and Trauma Coach for our grades 6-12 schools. This is a shared Middle School/High School position. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to collaborate within and among teams, the ability to establish positive relationships with students, the ability to establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to achieve a supportive learning environment, the ability to effectively work with small groups and individuals as needed and other school related tasks as requested by administration as may be required for the efficient and effective operation of the building. This position also requires supporting staff with integration of classroom-based trauma-informed practices.
Requirements/Experience: Knowledge of and experience supporting individuals and/or small groups with ACES. A Bachelor’s degree and Maine certification in Education, Mental Health, Social Work, or professional experience in a related field is preferred.
