The Lisbon School Department's special education department is being reviewed by the state Department of Education.  As part of this review, they are asking for parent and guardian input. Please consider completing the survey found at this link.  Thank you in advance for completing this 14 question survey.
Project Child Find is a nationwide attempt by public schools to identify and educate all exceptional children ages preschool through 20. In-school efforts through annual screenings of all new students have helped to identify those students who need special services. Community members are asked to assist the Lisbon School Department in this effort by calling the office of student services with information regarding preschool or school-age residents with special needs who are not currently enrolled in school.
Parents of children attending private schools who suspect their son/daughter may require special education services should call the office of student services to arrange a meeting.
If you suspect your child has a disability and may need special education services or 504 accommodations, or if you would like additional information, please contact your child’s teacher, principal or call 207-353-3060.
