GRADE 7 ELA/SOCIAL STUDIES

The Lisbon School Department is seeking a highly qualified K-8 certified ELA/Social Studies teacher. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the successful history of teaching at the Middle School level.  The candidate will be responsible for teaching both ELA and Social Studies courses.  The preferred candidate will have experience with the workshop model, Teachers College Writing and Reading Units of Study, have a thorough understanding of the common core standards, the ability to collaborate within and among teams and with parents, experience with planning and implementing Response to Intervention, the ability to establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to achieve a supportive learning environment, the ability to organize, track and analyze data to inform instruction. 

*Must have current Maine state certification with 020 endorsement*
