Philip W. Sugg Middle School
The Lisbon School Department is currently seeking a highly qualified K-8 certified teacher. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a successful history of teaching at the middle school level in ELA, Social Studies and/or the humanities model. The preferred candidate will have experience with the workshop model, a thorough understanding of the newest Maine Learning Results, the ability to collaborate within and among teams and with parents, experience with planning and implementing Response to Intervention, the ability to establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to achieve a supportive learning environment and the ability to organize, track and analyze data to inform instruction.
